Celebrate bus shelter designer's birthday

We have Trevor Dicksonson's wonderful Canberra bus shelter calendar to remind us that this Monday, March 23, is the birthday of the man who designed our beloved bus shelters, architect Clem Cummings.

Mr Cummings, who died in 1997, would have been turning 86.

Maybe as a gesture, on Monday you could leave a single flower at your local bus shelter as a thank you to the man who created one of Canberra's most iconic structures.
