Couples have tied the knot, others have split, and others still have have brand new sparks that burned brightly.
These are the biggest loves stories of 2019 starting with some very lavish weddings...
The weddings
Dwayne Johnson/Lauren Hashian
Highest paid Hollywood actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shrugged off convention to get hitched to long time partner Lauren Hashian at 7:45 in the morning.
The pair looked out at the sea as they tied the knot on Hawaii cliffs.
"It was truly magical, magical wedding," the hunk told Ellen De Generes.
This Morning's Alison Hammond continued her running joke that she's in love with The Rock, crying after he said on the red carpet: "Alison, I'm sorry. I got married."
Justin Bieber/Hailey Baldwin
It one of the biggest celeb weddings ever, heartthrob and music sensation Justin Bieber wed model Hailey Baldwin.
The pair actually wed the first time in New York last year, but held a second wedding so that all family and friends could have a ball.
A year later after their first marriage, they did it all over again in an extravagant South Carolina bash.
The guest list was eye-wateringly star-studded, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner , and of course Hailey's Hollywood royalty family.
Sophie Turner/Joe Jonas
Game of Thrones star Sophie and popstar Joe had one of the most fairytale weddings in recent memory in a lavish ceremony in the south of France.
It was also one of the most fabulously fashionable, Sophie stunning in a Louis Vuitton embellished gown and Joe clad all in black from French brand Berluti.
The stars were lining up for this one too, which of course included Sophie's long list of Game of Thrones pals.
Co-star Lena Headey gushed: "So beautiful, what a woman. Happy happy days to you both."
The south of France bash was also their second wedding, as they'd officially done it in May in Las Vegas.

Another star-studded wedding, Jennifer wed art dealer boyfriend Cooke Maroney.
Fans were delighted to see close pal and Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner show her face, after a video circulated of Kris and the Hunger Games having a drunken dance.
Other guests included Emma Stone, Ashley Olsen, Amy Schumer, Cameron Diaz and Adele.
Rio Ferdinand/Kate Wright
Last but certainly not least is one of the most emotional celeb weddings of 2019.
Their wedding took place in sun-drenched Turkey, with Rio's three kids all present.
It seems Kate has a special connection with Lorenz, Tate and Tia, who's mum Rebecca tragically died in 2015 at the age of 34.
"I cried as soon as the day started," Rio told OK! , "Seeing Tia walk up the aisle before Kate set me off. It was just so emotional.
"There was just no going back on the emotion, that's why I had to keep my shades on! Seeing Tate and Lorenz walk Kate down the aisle was particularly poignant and we wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way.
"They were so proud and they couldn't wait to do that, they felt important."
Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling
Ellie and Caspar had a very traditional wedding - big church, white dress, flocks of guests.
Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and Sienna Miller were all in attendance at York Minster Cathedral to see Ellie wed Caspar after they announced their engagement in August last year.
They said "I do" nearly one year later to the date.
Idirs Elba and Sabrina Dhowre
This one entailed a three day bash in Marrakech in April - so it would've been hot...seriously hot.
The location was settled on to convenience their loved ones, who met in 2017, and got engaged the next year.
"My family is from east Africa and Idris's is from west Africa, so we thought it would be fun to meet somewhere in between," Sabrina told Vogue .
Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn
The music sensation actually wed just before Christmas last year, but hosted a much larger bash that all their celeb pals were invited to in September this year.
They set up a large red tent in a Suffolk woodland, and while much of the wedding was kept under wraps, it was thought to be majorly star-studded.
Jennifer Aniston, Elton John and even royalty in the shape of Ed's pal Princess Eugenie are thought to have been in attendance.
Their first wedding was much more low-key, hosting only friends and family before heading to the pub.
A source told Mirror Online: "Ed has managed to schedule a break in his world tour for December so that's when they tied the knot.
"It was held at the church in Wingfield and the reception was at the local pub.
"There were only very closest friends and family there - even some of his longtime mates weren't invited."
Hot new romances....
Miley Cyrus/Kaitlynn Carter
Miley's first entry on this list was thought at the time to be the reason behind her split from husband Liam Hemsworth, an allegation she hot out at.
Kaitlynn, Brody Jenner's ex, snapped Miley as the two were on board a boat during a luxury getaway.
In the weeks to come, they packed on the PDA, but it wasn't to be and fizzled out.

Miley moved on to Aussie singer and tattooed adonis Cody.
The two weren't shy with their affections, especially as Cody admitted he'd had the hots for the Wrecking ball singer for a long time.
They were beset by split rumours, but Cody spent Thanksgiving with Miley's family - he's in their good books as well, with Miley's family saying they "love" her beau.
Liam Hemsworth/Maddison Brown
Liam initially retreated to his brother Chris' Byron Bay mansion in Australia following his split from Miley.
Despite the breakdown of his marriage, Liam was eventually spotted with model Maddison Brown, a source telling WHO magazine in October: "[The relationship is] very new. Liam is taking it slow but he's definitely interested in her."

Shawn and Camilla's whirlwind romance is a match made in pop heaven.
They aren't afraid of the PDA, and regularly fawn over each other during interviews.
Camilla recently branded him "the most transparent, honest person" in an emotional tribute.
They first stirred the rumour pot the release of the smash hit they worked on together, Senorita.

Singer Lily and actor David are one of the more unexpected entries on this list.
They became Instagram official in late October, and set to work establishing their credentials as a fashion couple to watch with a set of killer looks at the Dior Men runway in Miami.
They were also papper having a snog courtside at a basketball game across the pond - which was proof enough that there's a romance there.

Controversial as they come, comedian Pete hooked up with supermodel Kaia not long after her 18th birthday.
