Star chef Donal Skehan revealed how he had to spend three weeks away from his wife and child because of visa issues.
The 32-year-old had returned to Ireland to film a new Youtube series and launch the Barnardos Big Toddle campaign.
The Dubliner lives in LA with wife Sofie and son Noah, one, and found himself being stuck away from them because he had to renew his US visa.
He said: “That was the longest I've been away from him, it was definitely tough.
"It was three weeks, it was due to be less but I had to apply for my American visa again."

The proceeds from the walk will go to helping children in need.
Guardians and creche owners can organise the walk any time between May and June by registering online.
Donal said the couple is planning on taking Noah for a “toddle” to mark the event.
But he also confessed that he’s not as active as he used to be.

He told the Irish Sun: “Where we live in LA, we’ve got a huge park, and we have mountains that go off into the distance, we're spoiled for choice.
"The problem is, now that we have a toddler, he doesn't let us go on the bloody hikes anymore.”
He added that the couple end up bringing him to parks because “there's less chance of him wandering off and getting into trouble”.
