The latest Arsenal injury news ahead of Europa League final with Chelsea

The Europa League final is moving ever closer and Arsenal's preparations are almost complete.

Unai Emery's side have had a couple of weeks to get the squad in check for the clash with Chelsea, including the focus of getting several stars back to fitness.

Of course for a number of players it could be their final appearance for the Gunners.

Petr Cech is set to retire after the showdown in Baku, and is expected to start the game against the side who he is reportedly set to join this summer as Sporting Director.

It could also be Danny Welbeck's final appearance for the Gunners.

The forward, who will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of next month, has been out of action since November with a broken ankle but is back in full training.

However one player who he will have to do without is Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The 30-year-old Armenian will miss the showpiece final against Chelsea in Azerbaijan after the club revealed he would not make the trip on saftey grounds.

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil and Alex Lacazette have been training this week ahead of the Europa League final, while young stars Eddie Nketiah, Joe Willock and Bukayo Saka are also in contention.

Aaron Ramsey (hamstring), Denis Suarez (groin), Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding (both ACL) are all ruled out of the clash with injury.
