Ceballos teases Spurs, Man United pursue Maguire - Premier League transfer rumours

As the transfer window beckons to the halfway point, clubs all over the country continue their pursuit of adding fresh talent to their roster.

Having already made headlines with numerous blockbuster moves, like Eden Hazard to Real Madrid or Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Man United, there is in fact still work to be done.

Here are the freshest rumours from around the Premier League:

Toffees chase Pepe

Everton are reportedly interested in offering a club record fee for Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.

The 24-year-old, if pursued, would set the Merseyside club back £58.5 million - according to the Daily Telegraph .

With local rivals Liverpool denying interest in the Ivorian earlier in the window, Everton have an open opportunity to snap up the promising youngster - who scored 22 goals in Ligue 1 last term.

Ceballos teases Spurs over Instagram

Spain U21s star Dani Ceballos was in a playful mood following a teasing Instagram post confirming a London holiday.

Ceballos, who has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid for months, opted to poke fun at the speculation surrounding his future and Tottenham’s interest.

Football london report that the 22-year-old could be added to an improving Spurs roster after the capture of Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon earlier in the window.

Lemina wants Premier League move

Southampton star Mario Lemina has made clear his desire to leave St Marys this summer, but says he wishes to stay in the Premier League.

Lemina told France Football that he find the league ‘interesting’ and staying in England is his number one priority.

The Frenchman has been training away from the Saints squad following his public transfer request, with Man United being amongst a host of clubs linked with his signature.

Man United pursue Maguire

One of the most long-winded sagas of the window shows no sign of ending, with rivals Man City and Man United reportedly battling it out for Harry Maguire’s allegiance.

The Leicester defender is now valued at a staggering £85 million, with City allegedly dropping out of the race due to the extortionate price tag.

Now, the Daily Mirror report that United are leading the quest for his signature with no other competition.

Everton youngster rewarded with contract

Toffees keeper Joao Virginia looks set to be awarded a new contract following an impressive debut campaign.

The 19-year-old has received the good news just in time for his loan stint at Reading, which will be finalised in the coming week, according to the Liverpool Echo.
