CCTV shows thieves making off with shoes after trashing St Mirren star's home before crunch Scottish Cup tie

A St Mirren star had his house ‘trashed’ by three thugs less than an hour before taking to the pitch for a Scottish Cup tie.

CCTV footage shows three people fleeing Kyle McAllister’s home in Renfrew at around 6.45pm on Saturday night.

A tweet from his partner Eilidh Ryan claims that the trio made off with shoes as they ransacked the 21-year-old midfielder’s home.

She wrote on Twitter : “These three idiots broke into mine and Kyle’s house last night. Trashed the house and stole shoes.

“This was between 5.30-7.30pm on Saturday the 29th of February.

“If anyone has seen these boys or has any information on them in the Renfrew area, please give myself of @kylemcallister0 a message.”

McAllister had started on the bench for the Paisley side’s home Scottish Cup tie against Aberdeen at The Simple Digital Arena, which kicked off at 7.20pm that evening.

He went on to make an appearance for the Buddies at halfway through the club’s 2-0 loss .

St Mirren Football Club have been approached for comment.

Police Scotland have been approached for a comment.
