CCTV shows last sighting of missing Omagh man believed to have travelled on bus from Donegal to Dublin

This is a still image taken from CCTV which shows the last sighting of Seamus McCarney, a missing Omagh man who is believed to have taken a bus from Donegal to Dublin after his disappearance.

The missing 34-year-old was last seen in the Milford area of Donegal at around 1pm on Saturday.

It is believed that Seamus left the town the following day on Sunday afternoon just after 12pm and travelled to the capital by bus.

A family spokesperson told Dublin Live that they had received reports that Seamus arrived at Busaras in Dublin City just after 5pm that day.

Speaking to Dublin Live, the McCarney family is urging Seamus to contact his family.

They said: "His parents and family just want him to get in touch so we know he’s ok.

"And also, if anyone sees him, please contact the Gardai immediately."

In an official missing person's report, the PSNI describe Seamus as being of "slim build, 5ft 8ins tall, hazel eyes and unshaven with short brown hair".

“Last seen wearing dark clothing and possibly a baseball hat.

“Quote ref 2574 09/08/20 with any information by either PM or ringing 101."

Gardai added: “Seamus is originally from Omagh but was visiting Ramelton with family.

“When last seen Seamus was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, black tracksuit top, black shoes and a black nike peaked cap.

“Anyone who knows of Seamus’s whereabouts or can assist Gardaí in locating him are asked to contact Milford Garda Station on (074) 9153060, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
