CCTV shows horrific moment man boots cat into bushes

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a man was spotted brutally kicking a cat into some bushes.

In the video, the man is seen leaving a building with two other people.

The cat is sitting on the pavement before the man approaches it and kicks it into the bushes for no apparent reason.

The incident took place at around 5pm on July 2 on Pine Close, in Audenshaw.

He kicks the cat into the bushes because the animal got in his way (RSPCA)

A resident took the animal to a vet for treatment after finding the footage, but luckily the cat suffered no injuries from the attack.

Now the RSPCA is keen to find the offender in the video.

RSPCA inspector Jessica Arajo said: “Fortunately the cat was not left injured by this attack but it will have caused the poor pet pain and suffering.

"I am keen to trace the man in the video so I can speak to him about this incident.

"The incident happened at about 5pm on July 2 and the man has a bald or shaved head and is wearing a green tracksuit.

"I understand that such acts of cruelty can be very upsetting and emotive and we urge anyone with information to get in touch with us on 0300 123 8018.”
