- The 8.8 magnitude quake, which occurred off Russia’s far eastern Kamchatka Peninsula on 30 July at 11.25am local time, was the sixth most severe in recorded history.
- The video also depicts debris scattered across roads, with later clips showing cleanup and restoration efforts.
- Following the earthquake and resulting tsunami, over 2 million people globally were issued evacuation orders for their safety.
