Detectives have released an image of a man they would like to speak to after a sexual assault at a London Underground station.
A man sexually assaulted a woman in a stairwell at Canning Town Underground station at around 6.20pm on Wednesday, July 30, police said.
Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they believe may have information that could assist with their investigation.
Footage shows a man wearing denim jeans and a light blue t-shirt, as well as a black gilet, a crossbody bag, and sunglasses.
Anyone who recognises the man has been asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 161 of 31 July 2025.
Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
