Police have released CCTV images of people who could be witnesses to a fatal attack in Liverpool city centre.
Duncan Browne, 23, from Kirkby, died after he was attacked in the city centre at around 3.30am on July 4.
The group were on Hanover Street seeking a taxi home when the aspiring firefighter was attacked near the City Buffet restaurant.

It has been reported he was punched in an assault by three men and then collapsed, suffering a cardiac arrest.
Mr Browne was taken to hospital following the attack. The Everton FC supporter died with his family at his bedside the next day.
Mr Browne's grandad, John Browne, who described his grandson as “a nice, fun-loving guy who went out to watch a football match that night and he never came home ”.
Police have now released CCTV of two groups of people who were in the area at the time. Detectives think the people could be potential witnesses to what happened.
A spokesperson for the force said: " We have today, Friday 6th August, issued CCTV images of two groups of people who may be potential witnesses in the Duncan Browne murder investigation."
The first group of people pictured ( below) are believed to have walked from Seel Street and along Hanover Street just before the incident.
In the second image a male and a woman , wearing a black and white puffa jacket, are seen walking past the incident. They are believed to have remained in the area for a short time before walking away along Ranelagh Street, towards the Adelphi. They then cross towards Brownlow Hill.
Detective Chief Inspector Sabi Kaur said to the ECHO : “Our enquiries into Duncan’s death remain ongoing.
“We have issued CCTV images of a group of people and a couple who were in the area at that time and may have information which could assist with our investigation.
“I would ask any of these people, or anyone who recognises them, to contact us, as a matter of urgency.”

Terrence Kerwin, 34, of no fixed abode and Michael McLoughlin, 36 of Torus Road, Old Swan, have been charged with murder. Both men have been remanded in custody.
