CCTV of missing woman's last known movements released 3 weeks after she vanished

CCTV footage of a missing woman's last known movements has been released more than three weeks after she vanished.

Natalie Jenkins, 32, from Thornaby, North Yorkshire, was last seen at her home address on Wednesday 11 December at 10am.

Detectives investigating the disappearance of 'vulnerable' Natalie have pieced together three separate pieces of footage they uncovered as she walked in the town at around 7.45pm on December 10.

The CCTV is the last confirmed moving footage of her before she was reported missing.

Police are increasingly concerned for her welfare, Teesside Live reports.

"For a woman who is usually in touch with her family every day, it is so out of character for her not to be in touch, especially over Christmas and New Year," Detective Chief Inspector Matt Murphy King said.

The footage, which has been purposefully slowed down, shows her talking on a mobile phone while wearing dark coloured fur-lined boots, a dark coloured coat, white hat, trousers and a light coloured top.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Jon Tapper, from Cleveland Police, said: “This moving footage is the latest moving footage we have of Natalie.

"I want to appeal to people who may have seen Natalie on December 10 or 11 to come forward.

"CCTV is so important to this investigation and I want to specifically appeal to anyone who has commercial or private CCTV in the Thornaby or Middlesbrough areas to check for any sightings of Natalie on December 10 or 11.

“We have a team investigating Natalie’s disappearance and have a number of lines of enquiry, but need the public to come forward with information.

"It’s never an inconvenience to us as it might be the key to unlocking something in the case.”

Ms Jenkins is described as white, of very slim build, around 5ft 5ins tall, with a fair complexion and straight brown hair.

She has hazel eyes, a missing front tooth and two tattoos - one saying SWANN on her neck and another on her wrist saying SWANNY.

Anyone with information as to Natalie’s whereabouts or anyone who may have seen her, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
