Police hunt man seen in CCTV grabbing female jogger in Adelaide

Police have released dramatic CCTV vision of a man lunging at a female jogger in Adelaide's southern suburbs.

They are appealing for more video footage of the woman being assaulted in front of a bus stop on Oaklands Road in Oaklands Park last Thursday.

Police say the man — who was wearing a green-knitted beanie — grabbed at the woman from behind.

He has been described as slim, aged between 20 and 30 and of Caucasian appearance.

He was clean-shaven at the time of the incident.

The woman was jogging alone near the skate park at Oaklands Recreation Plaza at 5:40am when the attack happened.

The victim was able to break free and was not injured.

Police hope local residents or businesses might have footage of the man after he ran west from bus stop 22B.

Patrols attended soon after the incident and searched the area for the suspect, but could not find him.

About an hour later, police were called to nearby Austral Terrace at Morphettville after a woman, who had been out walking, believed she was being followed by a vehicle.

The woman had left the area prior to police arriving and investigators are urging her to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
