Police want to speak to two men in connection with an alleged "hate incident" where a woman had a drink poured over her.
The incident was reported to have taken place on Saturday, November 9 at the Tourist Information Centre in Smithy Row, Nottingham city centre, at around 8pm.
It was reported to police that men were being verbally abusive towards a group of women taking part in a pre-planned march before pouring a drink on one of the women.
Simon Redgate, manager of the Nottingham Tourism Centre, said: “We are saddened to hear about the alleged hate crime which took place outside the Nottingham Tourism Centre on Saturday evening.
"Nottingham has a zero tolerance approach to hate crime, and we support the fantastic work by Nottingham BID in the ‘No Place For Hate’ campaign to help tackle this issue, which includes offering free training sessions to night time economy venues and supporting providers on recognising and responding to hate crime.
"We urge anyone with any information about this incident to contact Nottinghamshire Police using the information provided.”
