CCTV images released after man's bank card details stolen and used 'in his sleep'

Detectives are investigating after two people allegedly stole a man’s bank cards and used them as he was asleep.

Investigating officers have now released images of a man and a woman they would like to speak to.

The incident happened in Alfreton Road, Radford, between 3am and 6.30am on July 1.

The suspects broke into the victim’s property while he was asleep during the early hours taking the man’s wallet which included bank cards and cash that had been left in a kitchen diner room.

The stolen bank cards were then used at a pizza takeaway and Tesco on Alfreton Road.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man or woman pictured who may have information that could help the enquiry.

The man is described as a black male, wearing a black tracksuit with the woman is described as a white female, wearing pink gym leggings and a white and black plain and striped jacket.

Police investigator Victoria Batterham, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are asking anyone who recognises the man or woman in the CCTV images to come forward.

“Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you think it may be, could go a long way to helping trace these two people.”

Anyone who has information should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 149 of July 1.
