CCTV images released after cycles stolen from 'secure' Beeston bike park

Police have released images of people they'd like to speak to after bikes were allegedly targeted in Beeston.

Officers were called to the Cycle Hub in Station Road after two men were reported to have broken the door to the premises in order to gain entry and steal bikes.

The incident is believed to have happened at around 12.42pm on Thursday, January 21.

The hub is a secure bike park, which, according to the Transport Nottingham website, is "covered, well lit and monitored via CCTV."

Police have released images of people they'd like to speak to in connection with an investigation into a report of criminal damage and bike theft.

Police Constable Phoebe Lau, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Criminal damage and theft are taken very seriously by Nottinghamshire Police and we will always investigate reports made to us.

“We are now working to establish the circumstances of this incident and I would encourage anyone with any information to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the force on 101, quoting incident number 21000068260.
