CCTV images released after copper wire worth £200 stolen from South Shields shed

CCTV has been released after copper wire worth £200 was stolen from a garden shed.

Detectives investigating the shed burglary in South Shields have now released images of two men they would like to trace.

The break-in happened at around 10am on January 24 when intruders went into the garden of a home on Talbot Road and opened the shed.

The offenders then stole £200 worth of copper wire from inside the shed while the home was empty and made off with the stolen goods.

An investigation was launched into the incident, and officers have now identified two men they would like to speak to.

The men pictured were in the area at the time of the burglary and could have information that can assist with the ongoing investigation.

The men, or anyone who knows them, are asked to use the ‘Tell Us Something’ page on the Northumbria Police website quoting reference 681 240120. Alternatively, you can email 3219@northumbria.pnn.police.uk.
