CCTV images released after bus driver 'racially abused' in Nottingham city centre

CCTV images have been released after a bus driver was reportedly racially abused in Nottingham city centre.

The driver received the abuse as the bus travelled along Maid Marian Way, Nottinghamshire Police say.

The force released two images from inside the bus, showing a man who has taken a scooter onboard.

They say they want to speak to the man in question.

PC Christopher Gray said: “There is absolutely no place in society for any type of hate crime.

"These type of distressing incidents are taken extremely seriously by Nottinghamshire Police and we will always investigate them robustly to ensure justice is served.”
