Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a woman was assaulted in a late-night incident.
The victim was targeted in Elmbank Street in the city centre at around 11pm on Thursday, July 9.
The man pictured was in the area at the time and may have information that will assist with the ongoing enquiries.
He is described as black, slim build, 5ft 8ins, aged late 20s to early 30s, with short black hair. He spoke with a foreign accent and was wearing a black hoodie, trousers and shoes.
Detective Constable Mark Souter said: “Fortunately the woman was not injured but she was left extremely upset as a result of the incident.
“Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the assault. In particular, they are keen to trace the man pictured in the CCTV image.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 4080 of Thursday, 9 July, 2020, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
