CCTV image released after woman 'punched' at Bristol bus stop

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after a woman was punched at a bus stop in Bristol.

An attack took place on Hareclive Road in the Hartcliffe area of the city at around 7.50pm on Saturday, May 15,

A woman was waiting at bus stop A with her children when she got into a "verbal altercation" with an unknown man.

He then punched her and ran away in the direction of Gatcombe Road. The woman sustained injuries to her face and was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

Avon and Somerset Police say enquiries have been carried out and they have obtained a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify and speak with in connection with the investigation.

He is described as male, white, about 5ft 9ins, with shaved blond hair and was walking a large white and black dog.
