A CCTV image has been released in connection with the historical assault of a woman in the Saltmarket area.
The incident happened around 7am on January 13, 2018.
It is believed the man in the image could help with enquiries.
A police spokesperson said: "The person officers would like to speak to is described as a black male, in his late 20s, with black curly afro hair, of slim build and wearing a black puffer jacket and dark blue jeans."
