A CCTV image has been released by police after a teenager was attacked while sitting in a city centre takeaway early in the morning.
Northumbria Police have released an image of the woman they want to speak to, after another woman, 18, was assaulted in the Magic Flame takeaway on Westmorland Road, Newcastle, at roughly 6am on October 16.
The reason for the attack is not yet known, but police are keen to speak with the pictured female, who was in the takeaway at the time and could hold important information.
The woman in the CCTV footage, or anyone who knows her, is asked to contact Northumbria Police via their website or by calling 101, quoting log NP-20221016-0190.
