CCTV image released after man exposes himself walking around Hebburn Riverside Park

Police investigating reports of a flasher walking around Hebburn have released an image of a man they would like to identify.

Officers were called to Hebburn Riverside Park after a man was spotted without any trousers or underwear at around 3.30pm on April 16.

The man is not reported to have approached anybody but officers were deployed to the area in a bid to locate him.

However, by the time officers arrived the man had fled the scene.

It follows a report in the same location on April 9, where a man matching the same description was seen riding a bike without wearing any trousers or underwear.

On this occasion, the man briefly spoke to a member of the public before riding away.

An investigation has been launched into both incidents with police now releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to.

He is believed to have been in the area at the time and could have information that can assist the investigation.

The man, or anyone who thinks they know him, is asked to contact police via the 'Tell Us Something' page of the Northumbria Police website or by calling 101 quoting log 700 160421.
