An investigation is under way after a burglary in Heaton.
The incident happened at about 4.25pm on Sunday, May 23, when two intruders stole a bicycle from a garage on Armstrong Avenue.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of two men they want to trace in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Enquiries to identify those responsible are ongoing but police believe the two men in the CCTV images were in the area at the time.
"Although their faces are mostly hidden, police hope that someone will recognise the men from their clothing and build.
"Anyone who recognises the men, or knows their identity, is asked to contact Northumbria Police online at the ‘Tell Us Something’ pages of their website quoting ref 54744U/21.
