Police hunt Perth skyscraper BASE jumpers after three sharply dressed figures captured on CCTV

Three men jumped from the roof of the building in Perth's CBD on Tuesday morning.

The net is closing around a group of thrillseekers who BASE jumped from the top of one of Perth's tallest buildings this week, with WA Police releasing CCTV footage of three people of interest.

The image was taken from a security camera on Tuesday morning before the men made their way to the top of Exchange Tower, a 40-storey skyscraper in the heart of the CBD.

Three of the men then jumped from the roof of the building about 8:30am, before parachuting down to a park below in front of stunned onlookers and fleeing to a waiting car.

Police Minister Michelle Roberts condemned the stunt, which she said could have cost any one of the men their lives.

She said the group wore business clothing to blend into the city crowd.

This helped them gain access to the roof of the building, which houses the offices of senior government figures including Attorney-General Christian Porter, Finance Minister Mathias Cormann and Defence Minister Linda Reynolds.

The men were able to escape into the crowd after completing the stunt.

Police later arrested 35-year-old Bryce Eden and charged him with trespass after tracking his four-wheel drive ute from the scene to a house in North Perth.

Police are still chasing the occupants of a silver Kia Rio Cerato hatch and a white Mistubishi Pajero four-wheel drive, who they believe are connected to the incident, and have asked anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicles to contact them.
