CCTV image of man released after burglary at GP practice in Sunderland city centre

Police investigating a burglary at a GP practice in Sunderland have released an image of a man they would like to trace.

On March 18, officers received a report that a bank card that was being kept at the Park Lane Practice in the city centre had been stolen.

The victim then became aware that the stolen card had been fraudulently used to purchase a number of items worth £500.

An investigation was launched and as part of their enquiries, officers have identified a man they would like to speak to.

He was in the area at the time that the stolen card was used at an ATM in the city, and may have information that can assist officers.

The man, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of the Northumbria Police website quoting log 143 of March 18.

Alternatively you can email 2122@northumbria.pnn.police.uk.
