CCTV image after £370 Vivienne Westwood bag stolen from Nottingham city centre store

Two women used a 'distraction technique' to swipe a Vivienne Westwood bag, police said. The force investigating the alleged theft of the designer bag has now released an image of two people they would like to speak to.

The incident took place when two women entered the Vivienne Westwood store, in Flying Horse Walk, in the city centre area. According to police, the pair used a 'distraction technique' to swipe the £370 item.

Police said that the women made no attempt to pay for the bag before leaving the store at around 1.35pm on May 18. Officers have studied CCTV footage as part of their investigation - and have now released an image.

Anyone with any information should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 401 of 18 May 2023, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
