CCTV footage released following assault and robbery at bus stop in Mosspark

Police have issued footage of a man they would like to speak to concerning an ongoing investigation into an assault and robbery in the Mosspark area of Glasgow.

The incident happened around 11.45am on Tuesday, February 4, at a bus stop on Corkerhill Road, at its junction with Linthaugh Road.

And resulted in a woman having property stolen and sustaining some minor injuries.

The man is described as being white, around 15 to 20-years-old with short brown hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue jacket, black joggers and black shoes with a white sole.

Constable Sean Kennedy, of Helen Street Police Office, said: “This was a traumatic experience for the woman involved who was left badly shaken.

"We are eager to talk to the man in these images in connection with the incident as we believe he may have information that could help us. I would urge anyone who may recognise him to get in touch as soon as possible.

"Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1228 of Tuesday, 4 February, or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111".
