CCTV footage released after woman, 20, assaulted in night time street attack

Police have released CCTV footage after a 20-year-old woman was assaulted in Glasgow.

At around 1.30am on Friday, December 13 the victim was attacked in Napiershall Street, close to Great Western Road, in the west end of the city.

The incident took place on Friday December 13 at around 1.30am (Greater Glasgow Police Division)

A spokesperson from Greater Glasgow Police Division said:"The man is described as white with dark hair, a dark beard and has a foreign accent.

"He is pictured wearing a distinctive jumper with lettering and two arrows pointing downwards on the back.

Officers are appealing for information (Greater Glasgow Police Division)

"Anyone who recognises the man in the image or who has any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 1992 of December 17 2019, or report this anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
