- She falsely claimed to be housebound and reliant on crutches due to severe rheumatoid arthritis and a slipped disk between January 2020 and March 2023.
- The Department of Work and Pensions ( DWP ) investigation, initiated after a tip-off, revealed Green was actively working out at a gym.
- Further evidence showed Green, from Shrewsbury , was also an active member of a running club, contradicting her claims of being unable to walk.
- Green pleaded guilty to dishonestly failing to notify the DWP of a change in circumstances, with the amended amount of fraudulent claims totalling £25,244.
