CCTV emerges after woman dragged off train and robbed in south London

Police released images of two people they wish to speak with following the Crofton Park robbery

Detectives have released CCTV of a robbery at Crofton Park railway station where a woman was pulled off the train.

The woman was stood near the carriage doors inside the train when a man and woman got on and stood close to her at Lewisham, south east London.

When the train arrived at Crofton Park station, the man tried to snatch her phone before he pulled her from the carriage and onto the platform.

He then grabbed the victim’s phone while the woman held her so he could get away.

The pair then ran out of the station but they were chased by passersby who managed to recover the victim’s phone.

British Transport Police confirmed the robbery took place just after 6.30pm on Friday, June 4,

Officers believe the people in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
