CCTV clue following Bestwood Co-op shop theft

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a shop theft at a Co-op in Nottingham.

Officers have released CCTV images to help with their enquiries.

The incident happened at the Co-Op store in Beckhampton Road, Bestwood on Sunday evening (October 25).

Bestwood Beat Manager Chris Armstrong, who is leading the investigation, said: "We have now issued two images from the shop's CCTV camera in the hope that we can speak to the pair in relation with the incident.

"It has been reported that a shop theft took place at around 8.45pm on Sunday evening (25 October) at the Co-Op in Beckhampton Road in Bestwood.

"We are keen to speak this man and woman in connection with the theft.

"If you recognise them please call 101, quoting incident number 677 of 25 October 2020."
