CCTV clue after thief steals from man on mobility scooter in The Meadows

Detectives are appealing for information after a man riding a mobility scooter had his wallet stolen during an incident in The Meadows.

Nottinghamshire Police are investigating the incident, which took place at around 12noon on May 14, in the area of Manifold Gardens, Houseman Gardens and Osier Road.

Details have only just been released by police.

CCTV images have been released of a man police want to speak to in connection with the incident, and officers have also launched an appeal for witnesses.

Detective Constable Matt Butler is leading the investigation.

He said: "We are keen to talk this individual in connection with the incident in The Meadows last month.

"It was reported that the victim was using a mobility scooter and had a wallet taken from him.

"We hope by putting this image out, we will be able to talk to this man. If you recognise him, please call 101 quoting incident number 276 of May 14, 2020."
