CCTV clue after reports of burglary in New Basford

Police have released images of a man that they want to speak with in connection to a burglary.

They are investigating a burglary in Shaftsbury Street, New Basford on the morning of March 16, when a man allegedly broke into the victim’s home through a downstairs window.

It is believed by police the intruder then searched the downstairs rooms and took the victim's handbag, purse, bank cards and two phones .

Nottinghamshire Police have now released images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

Detective Constable Louise Turton, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our enquires are ongoing into this matter and we are working hard to try to identify the offenders responsible.

“We would like to speak with anyone who may know or recognise these men or who saw anything suspicious on the morning of the incident.

“We are keen to identify and speak with the men in these images as we believe they may have vital information about what happened which could assist us with our investigation.”

Anyone with any information about the burglary or who may recognise the man pictured is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 118 or 16 March 2021, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
