CCTV clue after attempted robbery at Chinese takeaway in Nottinghamshire

Detectives investigating a report of an attempted robbery from a takeaway have released pictures of men they want to speak to in connection.

Police were called to the Chinese takeaway in Nottingham Road, Eastwood at around 9.45pm on Monday September 7 after a report of two men attempting to steal the till.

The men are thought to have been unsuccessful and nothing was taken before they fled the scene.

Detective Constable Andrew Sibley, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Robbery is a very serious offence and this incident would have undoubtedly been very frightening for the victim.

“We would like to speak with the two men pictured as we think they may have information that could aid us in our investigation.

“If you recognise them or have any information about the incident, please do not hesitate to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 688 of 7 September 2020.”
