CCTV captures rock being hurled at home while victim looks on

This is the moment a yob hurled a rock at a Liverpool home - while the woman who lives there sat terrified in her car outside.

CCTV recorded the daylight incident in Aigburth, which left a window smashed and those who live inside fearful of future attacks.

The incident has been reported to Merseyside Police.

The footage, recorded at 5.15pm on Sunday, June 27, details a boy initially walking on the pavement outside the home on Colebrooke Road.

He can then be seen launching an object at the property before running off with a group of others.

Throughout the whole episode a woman who lives at the home is watching from the car parked directly outside.

It is not clear if the boys knew she was present.

Photos taken following the incident show a shattered window pane.

A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that officers have investigated an incident of criminal damage in Aigburth last month.

"At around 5.15pm on Sunday 27 June, an unknown offender threw a stone at the window of a home on Colebrooke Road, causing damage to a window but no injuries."
