This is the moment a man was caught acting suspiciously during what is believed to have been an "attempted theft" at a car garage in Grangemouth.
CCTV footage caught the character sniffing about Central Scotland Car Sales - within Newhouse Business Park on Newhouse Road - during the early hours of Saturday April 16.
According to garage bosses, the man entered their premises shortly after 3am and had a look in numerous vehicles but didn't manage to take anything.
Images show him wearing a black and white jumper with the hood up.
Police Scotland have started an investigation into the incident, after being alerted later that day, and say enquiries are ongoing.
They are also asking anyone who heard or noticed anything suspicious to get in touch.
A spokesperson for the national force said: "Officers attended at Newhouse Business Park in Grangemouth after a man was seen within premises at around 6.30am on Saturday, 16 April, 2022.
"There was no trace of the man on police arrival and enquiries are ongoing."
