CCTV appeal to trace man with suspected links to Bury after knifepoint robbery

A man police believe has links to Bury is wanted by detectives in connection with a knifepoint robbery in Lancashire, the force has revealed.

Officers in Lancashire have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak with and urged anyone with information to come forward.

The force said a man was threatened with a knife in a robbery in Darwen, Lancashire, on March 15. No further details have been revealed.

Police said they believe the man in the CCTV image, who is shown wearing a high-vis jacket, may have links to Bury and the Tottington area of the town. The appeal is running on Lancashire Police's social media channels.

In a statement, police said: "Do you recognise this man? We want to speak to him in connection with a robbery which took place in Darwen on March 15 where a man was threatened with a knife.

"We believe the man in the image may have links to the Tottington and Bury areas. Email 3584@lancashire.police.uk or call 101, quoting log 379 of March 15, 2023."
