CCTV appeal to trace man on bike after serious assault in Glasgow City Centre

Police in Glasgow have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak after a serious assault in Glasgow city centre.

The incident happened around 5.30pm on Sunday, September 20, 2020, on St Mungo Place, near to Kennedy Path.

The man in the pictures is described as approximately 17-years-old, slim build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black jogging bottoms and dark footwear. He was riding a black bicycle.

Detective Constable Rachel Hopkirk, from Greater Glasgow CID, said: “We are eager to trace this man, as he may have information which is vital to our enquiries. Anyone who recognises him is urged to contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2978 of 20 September 2020, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
