Schoolgirl who vanished from Alloa found safe and well

A schoolgirl who went missing from her home has been found safe and well.

Police earlier launched a CCTV appeal after the girl vanished from her home in Alloa.

Concerns grew for Yasmin Mohammed after she was missing overnight.

Detectives released images of the 14-year-old at Stirling railway station at around 8am yesterday.

The most recent confirmed sighting of Yasmin was at Glasgow Queen Street station at 10.16am on Sunday.

It is believed she then intended to travel by train to England, possibly to the Bristol area.

Detectives in Clackmannanshire had appealed for help in tracing Yasmin and later announced that the youngster had now been found as they thanked the public for their assistance.
