CCTV appeal launched after stolen credit cards used in Bristol city centre shops

A suspected burglar used stolen credit cards at a number of city centre shops following a burglary the same morning.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is asking members of the public to help identify the man in the above CCTV image as police believe he may be able to help with their investigation.

It is thought the stolen credit cards were used at Tesco Metro on Marlborough Street, Sainsbury’s Local on Union Street, Sainsbury’s Local on Penn Street, and Shell on Newfoundland Street.

A police spokesperson said: "We are asking members of the public for their help in identifying the man pictured in this CCTV image.

"We would like to identify and speak to this man who is wanted in connection with a burglary of a property in Bristol at around 6.30am on July 7.

"Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5219153858."
