CCTV appeal after woman suffered facial injuries in Bristol pub assault

Police want to speak to two people after a woman was assaulted at a Bristol pub.

CCTV images of a man and a woman officers would like to speak to have been released as part of ongoing enquiries into an incident at the Cider Press pub.

A woman suffered injuries to such an extent, she needed hospital treatment.

Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement this morning: "We’re releasing images of a man and a woman that police want to speak to in connection with an assault on a female victim at The Cider Press, Gloucester Road, Bristol.

"The incident took place on Friday, October 1 at around 11.30pm. The victim suffered injuries to her face which required treatment in hospital.
