A 26-year-old woman was left with head injuries after being glassed in a Newcastle city centre bar.
Earlier this year, a woman had been inside Mono bar in the Groat Market when she has got into an altercation with another woman.
A verbal argument broke out before the 26-year-old victim was struck over the head with a glass.
It caused a cut to her head and the person responsible fled the scene soon after the assault.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Enquiries into the incident in question are ongoing and police have now released an image of a woman they need to trace.
"She was in the bar at the time of the incident, at about 11.55pm on March 27, and could assist police with their investigation.
"The woman, or anyone who knows her identity, should contact police on 101 quoting crime reference 067029A/19.
