CCTV appeal after report of person threatened at knifepoint in Nottingham city centre

Police investigating a report of a person being threatened at knifepoint in Nottingham city centre have released an image as part of their enquiries.

The incident was reported to have taken place outside The Cornerhouse in Burton Street at around 11pm on Saturday October 31.

Inspector Paul Gummer, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Nottinghamshire Police takes knife crime very seriously and will investigate all reports of knife-related offences thoroughly.

“Thankfully, no one was injured in this incident, however, when a knife is involved there is always the possibility that someone could end up severely injured or worse.

“I’d appeal to anyone who has any information on the incident or recognises the man in the photograph to get in touch with Nottinghamshire Police as soon as possible on 101 quoting incident number 1021 of 31 October 2020.”
