Detectives now want to speak to two men who were captured on CCTV about the incident. Anyone who recognises them is being urged to contact officers.

Inspector Cooke for Rochdale Neighbourhood Task Force said: "We've conducted a number of enquiries around this burglary and although no arrests have been made we are conducting a full investigation to establish the circumstances. We understand that the images are not of the best quality but we are looking to speak to the two men pictured who may be able to assist us with our investigation.

"We’re now appealing to members of the community if they have any further detail they can share that may help our ongoing investigation. This can be done by ringing the Rochdale CID directly on 0161 856 4620 or 101 quoting incident 2870 22/01/2023 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
