CCTV appeal after man hospitalised following assault on board Glasgow train

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries in relation to an assault which took place on board a train at Drumry station.

The incident occurred onboard the 1738 train from Balloch to Airdrie on Friday, July 31.

As a result of the incident, a man suffered facial injuries and required hospital treatment.

Officers wish to trace the man shown in the image. He is described as being in his late teens or early twenties, approximately 5 foot 7/8, muscular build with brown hair.

He was wearing a bright green Lacoste polo shirt, khaki green shorts, white socks and black sliders.
