Police are searching for a man who exposed himself in front of a mother and her five-year-old child.
An investigation was launched after the incident on Northumberland Road, near to the Northumbria University campus in Newcastle city centre.
At around 3.45pm on Saturday, March 16, a man exposed himself in front of the woman and her son before fleeing the area.
Officers say there were a number of witnesses to the incident.
They have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Officers have been carrying out enquiries to identify the person responsible and have now released an image of someone who may assist their investigation.
"The man was on the street at the time of the incident and may be able to assist the investigation.
"Anyone who knows his identity is encouraged to contact police on 101 quoting crime ref 034171H/19 or email 1137@northumbria.pnn.police.uk ."
