CCTV appeal after man brutally attacked before Manchester United match

Police have issued CCTV pictures of three men they want to speak to after a man was brutally attacked before a Manchester United match.

The victim was attacked by a group of men on Seymour Grove in Trafford at around 1.30pm on Sunday, October 16. Manchester United were playing Newcastle United that afternoon at nearby Old Trafford.

The suspects were heading to the game. The man was left with a broken jaw, a broken nose and cuts to his face.

He also suffered nerve damage to four of his teeth which will need further treatment. Police investigating the incident now want to speak to three men pictured on CCTV.

Anyone who recognises them is being urged to get in touch. Officers are also urging anyone who has any footage of the incident to contact them.
