CCTV appeal after brick thrown at paramedic's window in Slough leaves them 'unable to go to work'

A paramedic was left unable to go to work after a brick was thrown through their car window.

Thames Valley Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident in Slough.

Officers said the off-duty paramedic discovered on Wednesday afternoon that someone had smashed the windscreen of their vehicle while it was parked.

The incident happened in The Crescent in the village of Chalvey, near Slough, and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Investigating officer, PC Chris Fry of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are releasing CCTV of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident.

“A paramedic has had their car window smashed, which meant that when they went out to go to work they were unable to due to the damage to their vehicle.

“If you recognise the person in the image we would ask you to please get in touch.

“This incident happened at a time when there may have been people driving on Chalvey Road East, and we would ask anyone who was driving and has dash-cam footage or saw this incident to please come forward.”

Anyone with information about the incident in Slough should report it online or call 101 quoting reference 43200114070.

Earlier this month, thousands was raised to help buy a new car for a junior doctor who was left unable to get to work after thugs smashed his car windows with bricks and rocks.
