An investigation is under way after an attempted burglary in Newcastle.
On Wednesday, May 20, a man attempted to gain entry to an address on Tumulus Avenue in Walker.
The incident was reported to police and enquiries are ongoing to try and find those responsible.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace in connection.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police: "Police launched an investigation into the burglary and enquiries to identify those involved are ongoing but police have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to.
"He was in the area of Tumulus Avenue and may be able to assist the investigation.
"The man, or anyone who recognises him, is encouraged to contact police on 101 quoting Log 225 – 20.05.20 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
